"SUCCESS RELATIVE OR REAL"

"SUCCESS" -  RELATIVE OR REAL"

Dear Readers, it has been a long time to have written the blog. Today I came across an inhouse unending debate about "Success", finally it ended in hot exchanges and obviously without result as to who was successful than whom. We all know that there is no scale to measure success. Some define success in terms of acheivements, some in terms of money, some in terms of peace and some in work & satisfaction & even a good married life.

Well, as we know there is no certain definition for success. From this article let us try to make an analysis to understand the 'traits of success .' What then 'Success is? 'Success can be interpreted as the 'achievement' of one's chief goal or aim'.

The quality prone 'path to success' generally should be having the following features:

1) To be desirous about an objective or an 'aim'. That is, to be passionate. Psychologists suggest that if you want to full fill your aim in life you need to write down as to what you intend to acheive as 'aim' & read it every night before you go to bed. You need to practically " Pray" in deeds, such that" I will render the best service at my command, and that I will alwaus endeavour to deliver the best regardless of the pay that I receive. In fact in your mind you actually need to sign your prayer as an agreement.

The slogan should be " YOUR WORLD IS DETERMINED BY YOUR DOMINANT DESIRES"

2) "Self Confidence"- We all need someone to believe in us, once they start believing then, it means to have got converted in to their 'trust' for you. The chain between 'beliefe and trust ' is very lengthy and have to cross many milestones. To gain 'self confidence' you have to believe yourself first. You have to subconciously put into your mind that "You are the most important person in the whole world." Within"you" have all the ingredients of a successful person. You have to also subconciously believe that 'you' have all the talents that will take you to the desitination of your goals. 'You' also need to build up your own motivational power. Remember that : Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good by fearing to attempt.

3) INITIATIVE: Taking initiative is an effective to prove yourself and build your self confidence. Let's understand what is "initiative"? Well, 'Initiative is to perform or to do a 'right' thing without being told- says Elbert Hubbard. I will give an example to this. There was an employee who use to offer an helping hand to his collegues for which he was not being paid, obviously after completing his own job. One day the owner of the company saw him helping his collegue, When it was a salary day this employee found that his pay was hiked, the employee was surprised instead of being happy. He went to the owner and asked him about this. The owner simply told this employee that he took such initiative which was a valuable contribution to his company. Thus, such 'initiative'is a valuable part of any man's tool-kit.

4) IMAGINATION: It is 'The Father' or let's say 'The Mother' of "Creation." If there are no imaginations there would have also been no inventions. In fact if according to you if someone of your inspirtation is a 'successful person' then he must have spent sometime in imagining something. Therefore if you will use imagination in your work you be bound to get ahead. Remeber: "No man can become a power in his community or achieve enduring success until he becoes big enouth to blame himself for his own mistakes and failures.

5) Enthusiasm: Another path to success is 'Enthusiasm'. Everyone not only appreciates a cheerful person but also likes an ethusiasitic person. He has an ability to change the atmosphere in office as well as at home. Whatever may come an enthusiastic person faces it cheerfully and gets along with problems easlily. Only thing is important to observe the thin line between 'enthusiasm and over enthusiasm'. In professional careers enthusiastic persons are promoted faster. It is also noticed that people who work with enthusiasm are always best in their jobs and get the highest pay.

6) ACTION: To 'act' wisely, and in the right manner in any situation that you have to face is actually a process which can take you to fruitful acion should take You to the path of success. Many times in our personal and professional life we do not realize situations which come on us, also we do not empathetically look at people who have put us in whatever situation. Once we understand this, our perfection leads to 'action' which generally does not go wrong and takes us to a path of success. Our action in regards has to be as a 'win-win' situation.

7) SELF-CONTROL: 'Self control' is actually to train our mind and soul to remain patient in abnormal situations. Therefore, this protects and prevents us from performing any action that will cause disaster to our own or one's career's, name and fame. In professional or even personal or both lives, a person who can withstand criticism and abuse without losing faith in or respect for his fellowmen always seem to have a dignified self control. Theodore Roosevelt quotes" I never won without hard labor and the exercise of my best judgement and careful planning and working long in advance. I had to train myself painfully and laboriously, not merely as regards my body, but as regards my soul and spirit .

To develop self control one must acquire the habit of forgiving those who annoy and arouse to your anger. Intolerence and selfishness make very bad humans for self-control. Remember 'Anger is the state of Insanity'. A well balanced person is a person who is slow to anger and who remains cool and calculating in his procedure. He reamains calm and deliberate in all conditions.

8) ATTRACTIVE PERSONALITY: The 'extrovert' and the 'introvert' personality has a vital importance in the 'Path of Success, it has many classified traits. Making your personality attractive is a collective effort to build your character. Your professional personality should be such that to make yourself so valuable to the employer that he will want to keep you and pay myself in proportion to the quality and quantity of work that 'I' perform. After all 'personality' does matter in the existance of professional and personal existance.

9) THOUGHT: Your 'thoughts needs to be specific or accurate to your objectives. To achieve fame or accumulate a big fortune requires the cooperation of your fellowmen. Achievements do come through accurate thoughts. Your thoughts are servants of your own will. You are the master in your own house, and you can entertain whatever guests of thoughts you please. A Human moulds himself by his thoughts, just as a sculptor moulds clay. Transparent thoughts lead to a clear destination. Sometimes your thoughts may 'sound' others funny and may laugh at you, take your own self seriously. The mob always makes a fun and laughs to what it does not understand, the mob finds it ridiculous what cannot comprehend. The thing that matters is what you think in yourself, and believe in yourself and not what others feel about you or your thoughts.

10) CONCENTRATION: A magnifying glass can burn a piece of paper, when the rays of the sun are focused through it on one point. The fire could only be ignited, when the sun’s rays were concentrated on a small point. When the magnifying glass was moved too far away, or too close to the paper, the rays were not focused enough, and nothing happened. When you focus your mind, you conserve your energies and do not dissipate them on irrelevant thoughts or activities. This is why, developing concentration is vital for anyone aspiring to be more efficient and take charge of his or her life. Practice concentration through correct techniques.

11) LEARNING FROM FAILURES: When something is being tried or is risked then the logic of success and failure applies. Most of them congratulate for your success, however there will be very few to stant to your for your failures. Remeber, there is no permanent failure. Failures teach us to become tolerant and persistent. Failures should be treated even as eye openers in order to achieve the 'Path of Success'.There is a great lesson from failure though time being we may not know about it. If you have faced repeated failures, then instead of going down be sure that you will have a strong evidence that you will rise again to much much higher heights in your chosen work. However introspection towards the cause or causes of failures is mandatory and has to be systematically studied.

Dear reader, these are some of the important aspects twhich will lead You towards 'Success'. I personally feel that success is relative and differs from person to person.

Thanks & Regards,
